Our approach

MyVisaRoutes works without cookies by default. Marketing cookies are only set if you accept them.

Storage we use without asking

These are strictly necessary for features you ask for, or set no identifier, so they don't need consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR):

• Quiz answers (browser local storage): keeps your answers so you can go back or see your results. Never sent to us.
• Display settings (local storage): your theme and currency choice.
• Cookie choice (local storage): remembers whether you accepted marketing cookies.
• Order reference (session storage, cleared when you close the tab): lets the thank-you page show your downloads again if you refresh it.
• Ad source and price shown (local storage): the campaign name in the link you arrived from and which price you were shown, passed to our payment provider when you buy. No identifier.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami count visits and steps without cookies and without identifying you.

Cookies we use only with your consent

• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): measures visits and purchases from our Facebook and Instagram ads. Cookies such as _fbp are set only after you accept marketing cookies.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Payments

Checkout pages are run by our payment provider, which may set its own cookies for security and fraud prevention under its own policy.
